Hello, my name is Diyana, twenty something and I live on my own and surviving.

Now is one of the most liberating moments in my life and also one of the scariest. Television shows give us a fantasy look at the life of the single girl out on her own. As much as I would like to say that it is all fabulous, funky apartments and insanely cute trendy outfits, that is just not the truth. It isn’t always “Sex and the City” or even “Friends”.

Anyway, living alone + single has many advantages. I don’t plan on being single forever, but I believe starting out this way can actually make me a stronger individual for later on in life. The freedom that comes from it helps me to grow up and be independent.

One of many changes for 2009 is bigger room. I have a Big Girl Bed! I’m a big girl! *squeal. Yes, I spoil myself too much, always wanting “bigger” and “better” things. But I use my hard earned money, so xpelaa kot. The key is to rely on myself as much as possible. My parents should be proud =P.

Rolling with the changes, now I can stretch out and embrace all the empty space on bed. And one Big Girl Bed to-do is –> big-girl-with-big-boy things!! *winkwink hahaha
